Erika Foster - Payroll Specialist
As part of the administration team, Erika joined the firm in April of 2019 in the newly created role of Payroll Specialist. She focuses on multi-state payrolls for several of J.S. Richter’s clients and also tackles various administrative, human resources and accounting projects.
Erika graduated from Eastern Illinois University (EIU) in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a focus in human resources. While attending EIU, she sought ways to become involved on campus and joined Delta Sigma Pi, SHRM and the CPA Society. Her involvement helped her gain work experience, share ideas on how to become a better employee, attend seminars and, ultimately, prepare for a professional career. Erika later decided to attend Saint Xavier University, from where she graduated in 2015 with a Master’s in Business Administration.
During and after her years in college, Erika actively worked on expanding her experience and successfully joined several of Chicago’s leading recruiting firms, which placed her in a position to use her knowledge, skills and abilities to help grow the respective firms and streamline HR and payroll processes.
Outside of the office, Erika enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, swinging her tennis racket on the court, traveling around the world and rooting for the Chicago Bears in anticipation of a Super Bowl win. Her long-term goal is to be a college professor so she can share her expertise in business, administration and human resources with future generations.
